Nexus
Unmanned air taxi, Bell Helicopter company. This device was presented at the world exhibition CES 2019 in Las Vegas. The device works from two sources of energy: on-board batteries and a gas turbine that starts an electric generator. The Nexus device will be able to take off vertically and accommodate five people with a total weight of 360-450 kg. For the landing of the device, a standard helipad measuring 11 by 11 meters is required. The first customers may be the French, as the batteries and engine are developed by their Safran company. Bell Helicopter assures that regular flights will begin in 2021, this service can be ordered through Uber. So soon we will easily be able to enjoy the Eiffel Tower from the air.
